On the back of developing the University of Adelaide's enrolment application, 'Enrol Me', Nucleus was engaged to undertake UX/UI design and front-end development of the University's student app. The existing app was dated, and not being used to its full potential by students. As a first step, to ensure the app was useful and relevant to primary users, we facilitated a series of focus group workshops to glean first-hand feedback on the wants and needs of current students.
During these workshops, our team presented three different interface designs for student consideration, each demonstrating different approaches to UX, content layout and weight.
Based on the valuable feedback from these workshops, we refined the interface to align with student preferences and undertook front-end coding of the UI and integration of the University's core systems, via API's, in collaboration with the University of Adelaide's internal team, ensuring the app experience was streamlined and functional.
